Brandoni plays with fire…and water

Here’s a product that made me go “hmmm.” At Cersaie this year, Italian radiator manufacturer Brandoni teamed up with architect Fabrizio Batoni to create Monolite, a shower and radiator rolled into one.

Yes, you heard me. It may seem a bit counterintuitive, but the product consists of a vertical radiator panel, available in a 400-mm or a 500-mm width, that is connected to a shower column containing a showerhead, a mixer, a handshower and a diverter. Monolite is also offered solely as a heating column, as well as with double doors or in a corner configuration equipped with a side-hinged door. Shower trays and tempered glass and fittings come in different sizes to suit a variety of bathroom spaces.

So what do you think? Yea or nay?
